APPLE OF HIS EYE
by Kenyon Nicholson & Charles Robinson 
directed by Mike Stephens
APPLE was ACT’s very first production, performed all those years ago in 1954 at Abilene’s Fair Park Arena. This romantic comedy tells the story of a widowed gentleman farmer who finds himself developing feelings for his temporary housekeeper - who just happens to be his neighbor’s daughter.

DEATH OF A SALESMAN

The classic drama of Willie Loman, an aging travelling salesman who recognizes the growing emptiness in his life and makes one last attempt to fix it. Originally produced at ACT as part of the 1960-1961 Season.

SYLVIA

This romantic comedy focuses on a stray pup called Sylvia and the unexpected effect she has on the couple who adopts her. Originally produced at ACT in April of 1998.

MIDSUMMER
by William Shakespeare
adapted and directed by Keith May
Keith May directs his interpretation of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, in which a gang of mischievous faeries weaves their tale as they slowly take over the stage of a small town West Texas community theatre. A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM was originally produced at ACT in February 1975.

MURDER AT THE HOWARD JOHNSON’S

RUMORS

We close the season with Neil Simon’s classic farce. All is not as it seems (maybe) at a dinner party in which the hosts are never seen and foul play may have taken place. Originally produced at ACT in October 1992 and June 2002.
